Yay! I have loved going to the mailbox everyday and finding lovely cards from around the world! I wanted to share a little sample of the cards I've received thus far. Thank you so much to all who sent these little works of art, and thank you to all who've taken the time to let me know that my cards were received and enjoyed! I've heard people say that math is the universal language but I beg to differ. Art has a such a wonderful way of bringing people together and can communicate in every language. Okay, that's all for now. Lots of love to my blog friends and fellow postcard swappers! ♥♥♥

Well the postcards are journeying toward their new homes. I really put my heart and soul into these cards. It was a lot more work than I thought it would be, but so much fun. I loved getting paint all over my fingers and feeling absolutely giddy each time I finished one! I received my first card over the weekend all the way from Germany! Thank you Tarijune! There are so many kindred spirits in the art world. Here's some pics of rest of my cards!

I have two cats, Nova and Boo. Boo is a recent addition to the family, my husband rescued him just before Halloween last year. He is all black so we named him, Boo. He is very curious about the crafting mess I have out all over the kitchen table(really need my own craft room). Every time I step away, he comes and plops right on my stuff. Here's a few pics. I had to throw in the pic with the yellow shirt since he looks so cute! I saw it in the clearance bin at Petco and had to get it. Suprisingly he loves wearing it.
This postcard has been bugging me ever since I finished it. The words just weren't right and the stitching didn't stand out enough...so I fixed it today and now I love it! I just got an email from ihanna yesterday with the names and addresses to send my pcards to! They'll be going to Australia, Norway, Sweden, England, Quebec, Washington, Texas, Virginia, Colorado, and Minnesota! I'm so excited! Hope you're having a lovely Sunday afternoon, the sun is actually shining here in Oregon!

I'm just about to get ready for work but I wanted to post a couple more postcards. I'm wishing I could stay home today all wrapped up in my snuggie and play with my art supplies all day. Alas, I'm a grownup and I gotta go to work. This pc challenge has been so much fun. I've gotten a bit attached to my postcards and I'm feeling just a tiny bit sad about mailing them and never seeing them again. Is that just ridiculous?
